Please note the basic riding gear requirements for ALL RTI programs:
What to Wear

| Helmet | DOT and Snell approved full face style helmet | DOT approved helmet | Crash damaged or old helmets (helmets should be replaced after 5 years) |
| Jacket | Heavy grain leather or textile jacket built for motorcycling with armour | Heavy grain leather or heavy denim jacket | buttery soft fashion leather, suede, or windbreakers. |
| Pants | Leather or textile motorcycling pants with armour | Leather or heavy denim pants | ripped jeans, track pants or pants too short to cover the ankle |
| Boots | Leather motorcycling boots with ankle protection | Leather hiking boots or work boots | hightop running shoes, shoes or boots below the ankle, boots held on with elastic side panels |
| Gloves | Leather motorcycling gloves with a high gauntlet and two layers of leather over the palm area | Leather gloves covering the wrist | suede gloves, motocross gloves (non-leather motorcycle gloves), fingerless gloves |
